Radiofrequency Skin Tightening
Radiofrequency skin tightening at The Garden Medical Spa, Massage & Wellness uses the revolutionary Legend Pro device that utilizes the combination of fine pins with radiofrequency technology to remodel the building blocks of the skin and deeper tissues. Radiofrequency skin tightening strategically targets the skin and subdermal layer of the skin to stimulate collagen production while accomplishing skin rejuvenation and tightening.
All areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration, or acne can benefit from radiofrequency skin tightening. The most commonly treated areas include the face, neck, and chest. Most patients experience mild redness and swelling for only a few hours after treatment.
The Legend Pro has colorblind technology and can be used on all skin types.

When performing radiofrequency skin tightening, we typically numb the skin with a topical anesthetic prior to the treatment. Next, the Legend Pro handpiece treats the areas of concern. Typical treatment times are around 30 to 45 minutes.
Usually, anywhere from 1 to 3 treatment sessions are needed depending on the condition of the skin and the results desired. The best results are achieved after 3 treatments. This is not a marketing gimmick, but rather a consequence of the fractional nature of the treatment. Fractional treatments typically affect anywhere from 20% to 30% of the surface area of the skin and deeper tissues, so if we want to approach a 100% treated area, at least 3 treatments are needed. Radiofrequency skin tightening treatments are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

After each procedure, clients are encouraged to avoid direct sun exposure for a few weeks. Clients should use a broad-spectrum sunscreen and incorporate the skin treatment plan prescribed by our aestheticians.
